Meet The Team
Molly Taylor is a passionate artist, writer, editor and designer. She spends most of her time in other worlds, reenacting and taking on the lives of everything from a Diesel Jock to a Viking warrior. Her love for art in all its forms pushes her to find beauty in every format and share it with the world around her. Molly found and fell hard for Dystopia Rising back in 2014. Shortly after her start, she jumped onto the Indiana team and found what she truly loves to do. Her adoration for the community drives her to apply her skills in prop making and storytelling to elevate the experience of those around her.
Matthew Rust, artist, designer and parent of two cats, currently manages a graphic design and marketing team. When he's not taming the animals, he designs shirts and logos as a freelance designer and artist. Having fallen in love with Dystopia Rising and the community he joined the Kentucky team shortly after the chapter’s opening. When not marshaling in Kentucky, playing there, in Indiana or other various games he spends his time playing video and tabletop games. When not playing games Matthew is a passionate crafter and traditional artist. He has an interest in photography, printmaking, metalworking and jewelry design. He is also a crafter of foam weapons and armor. He takes great pleasure in creating and finding the beauty in things.
Mander Oskey is a musician, culinarian, and horror enthusiast, as well as a herder of cats and parent of the best pupper. They have been LARPing for nearly two decades, but they discovered Dystopia Rising three years ago. After falling in love with the community, Mander has put their talents as a story creator, costumer, and prop maker into making this game a better place. Mander assisted in Oregon as a kitchen marshal, settings marshal, and post marshal, and they have guest marshalled across the network. Mander left the west coast in Summer of 2018 and immediately jumped into working in settings in Ohio. They strive to create an immersive environment for everyone around them, drawing inspiration from European LARPs.
